    Production of environmental friendly technologies

    Production of environmental friendly technologies

Our greatest contribution to environmental protection lies in our products themselves: Our metering and mixing technology is used worldwide in the production of modern, environmentally friendly technologies:

    • Production of rotor blades for wind turbines - Here DOPAG is the world market leader.
    • Production of batteries and control electronics for electric cars
    • Production of photovoltaic systems and solar panels
A wind turbine and as an environmentally friendly technologies.

Our systems are designed to conserve resources so that they operate with as little energy consumption as possible: Insulation of all heated assemblies or gradual adjustment of the temperature level when the system is not in use.

    • Conversion from pneumatic to electric drives
    • Water flushing in the new "dynamicLine" product development
    • Introduction of disposable mixers that are significantly more resource-efficient than conventional products.

    • Our "dynamicLine" system: The mixing head is rinsed with tap water. The contaminated water is filtered and can be disposed of normally as wastewater. The city of Mannheim (Germany) confirmed that the rinsing water no longer contains any hazardous substances.
    • Cleaning centre: We also have a blasting unit for stubborn dirt, which saves solvents and allows parts to be reused more often.
    • The components that are difficult to clean due to their geometry are cleaned in a cleaner bath at up to 180 ° C. Due to the reuse, the consumption of cleaning agent is significantly reduced and the cleaning agent is thus saved.

Sustainable use of energy and resources in the buildings

    • Efficient energy use: For example, we run major tests on equipment at night and check/maintain our compressed air system monthly.
    • At the Cham (Switzerland) site, we continuously implement measures for resource-saving building use, e.g. by converting to LED lighting.
    • Audit at the Cham (Switzerland) site by the Office for the Environment in 2020: Our fundamentally good level was confirmed.
    • We promote correct waste separation from PET to steel and aluminium.
    • The roof of our large assembly hall at the Mannheim (Germany) site is greened.

    Sustainability in purchasing and warehousing

    Sustainability in purchasing and warehousing

    • We pay attention to CO2-neutral supply chains.
    • We encourage our suppliers to be sustainable: no more than one package or pallet should be shipped, use of sustainable packaging materials.
    • By reusing cardboard boxes, hardly any packaging material is purchased.
    • Multiple orders from one customer are shipped as a by-pack whenever possible.
    • Disposable pallets and many other packaging materials are reused.
